SUNDAY 8th NOVEMBER 2020 – Basketball Moe Inc. is excited to announce that we are planning for a return to Junior Domestic Basketball competitions with a view to hold three (3) rounds from 23rd November 2020, before pausing for our usual Christmas break.
This proposed return will be subject to all restrictions that are in place as per any relevant State and Federal Government legislation, the Return to Sport guidelines from our governing body, Basketball Victoria and any constraints that are implemented by our venue management, the Latrobe City Council.
With this in mind, team entry forms will be made available shortly, with entries closing at 5:00 pm on Wednesday 18th November 2020.
There is a lot of behind the scenes work that needs to occur between now and our proposed start date, therefore the timely return of entry forms is critical. We ask for our member’s cooperation with the prompt return of team entries, as we are working to strict deadlines.
It is also important to note that restrictions will still be in place in regards to venue capacity limits and COVID safe practices. Further information regarding these restrictions will be provided in due course.
We would appreciate the patience and understanding of all members of our basketball community as we work through what is a challenging period of change and uncertainty for the Association and our members.
